Yesterday I took K to see Sesame Street Show at the Bahrain Exhibition Centre. It was kind of fun for him though he refused to join other kids to dance. So I picked this outfit for the Show.
I always love olive colour so when I saw this olive top at H&M I couldn’t help but taking it home. I feel that now when I buy clothes I have a better focus. So when I buy things like blouse, shirt, skirt or dress, I have to think of what I have had in my wardrobe. New pieces should be fit in with the rest.
Before I started blogging, I tended to buy many clothes that were big enough to cover my boxy figure. It was hard to find things that fit me in my home country since everyone seems to have size 0. So when I found big sized clothes, I just bought them. I then ended up having clothes that didn’t fit with each other. Chaotic wardrobe indeed. Lately, I looked at my blog pages, I decided to ditch many pieces of clothes that I don’t need. I found out that many of them were so loose and didn’t flatter my boxy shape at all. Blogging helps me find my right clothes that flatter my figure. I am still learning to style myself and I hope it will get better and better with all of your help and support.
The Gucci belt was something I bought last year and hardly wear it. I cannot find the way to wear it right. I think it was nice with my deep olive top.
The handbag is from Paul Smith. I like the two contrast colours on the bag, black and orange-red with the grey handles. This pair of shoes I love very much. It was okay price from Zara a few seasons ago.
Before the Show, we had lunch at a nice place called “Le Chocolat” The cakes and chocolate there are amazingly delicious. Love it.
Hope you have a good Sunday off! GRRRR I have to work today.
I got this striped dress from Oman at a good price tag. I always wanna wear this kind of pattern on a dress but I tend to think stripe will only make you look bigger so I avoid wearing it. Since I lose some weights my confidence grows, I decided to wear it to see my hairdresser and bring K to the playground. When I look at myself in the mirror I think it enlarge my body shape. But who care!? I am gonna have a good time with my boy in this dress. It is the positive attitude toward yourself , that counts.
I left K at the play ground with J and drove to see my hairdresser. Unfortunately my favourite hairdresser was occupied, I was introduced to a new one. I agreed to let the new unfarmiliar face cut my hair. The haircut turn out nicely. Lucky me! Hope you agree!
Dress from R&B shop in Oman, belt from Foever21, flat from Tory Burch and Hermes herbag.
I have already left Oman and came back to Bahrain. Tomorrow is another working day. Holiday always seems to be too short and I have never had enough of it. We spent the last two days for our son. The evening of 27 March, we decided to bring him to the park and Riyam Funpark. At the park we had some time to enjoy the peacefully beautiful view of old Muscat surrounded by Guld of Oman on one side and mountaineous scene on the other side. It was magnificent. The last day we took K to Sultan’s Armed Forces Museum. He loved it very much. It was amazing to see those little smiles. We also drove to the Grand Mosque of Muscut but it was closed in the afternoon.
At the park, I wore a pleated top in deep blue with my blue denim. I teamed them with my beige handbag and two-toned slippers from Promod. While at Sultan’s Armed Forces Museum, I wore white laced top and black culottes. To complete my clean look, I carried LV classic speedy bag and Oasis black flats.
It was crazy! My husband told me when he saw me wearing Oasis black culottes pants and H&M blue lacy top to a day trip to Wadi Shab. We had to take a boat crossing the small river and walked for 2-3 hours to find the river. It was good that I wore a pair of classic Converse All Star sneakers so I could walk. It was amazing trail along the Wadi or river (that stays empty most of the time in Arabic). We however couldnt walk too long because we came with a 4 years old boy. He loved swiming in the river bank after 1.5 hours walk. We made a 3 hour-walk a wonderful memory. K is a tough little guy.
On the way back we stopped by at Shagri-la resort to take a close look at the famous Sea Arch and enjoyed nice spanish dinner there so my total look was appropriate at the end!
It is my second day in Oman. Today we plan to go to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest mountain, but it was too long and tiring drive for K so we only stopped in Nizwa, lovely old town with an interesting fort. To add colour in my casual look, I went to Mossimo dutti’s blue flowerish linin top and H&M skinny jeans. My beige cross-body purse from the CHOICE and a pair of classic white converse sneakers cannot go wrong with my whole look.
Hello from Oman!
Jasper and I decided to make a trip to Oman for celebrating Kevin’s Birth month. The trip is going to be a unforgettable one, I am very certain. Kevin is growing up a lot and more mature so it is easier to travel with him. Today I wore light blue H&M top and Twentyfour demin. I completed my look with beige accessaries. The bag is from the shop called CHOICE and the shoes are from Promod.
Our first destination was Sinkhole followed by the Mutrah Souq.
I really enjoy Oman.
A few days ago I found this website called Memorandrum, I like it a lot. The blogger behind it is fabulous and creative. Since I am always into polka dot clothes, I was very much inspired by the way she put a lovely polka dot dress on top of a white shirt. I searched my closet and found this black-and-white polka dot dress so I teamed it with a black shirt and a CH black belt. I am then more than ready for a hard working day in my lovely polka dot dress.
Thanks Memorandum for your lovely inspiration! And thanks all of you for visiting my blog.
